About Us
The Puget Sound Region of the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA) is located in the Puget Sound region of Western Washington.
We are a very active region, and meet six times each year at various locations to hear a program, to engage in polite conversation and partake of afternoon tea. Naturally, the subject of the meetings is always related to the life, times and works of Jane Austen.

Some years back, we had a program about the food at the Netherfield Ball. It was a big success, and we put together a small recipe booklet with notes from our members who made the dish. If you missed that, you can download it here. There are two versions - one that has the pages set up to make a 5 by 8/ 12 booklet. The other has the pages in order for reading from regular sized pages.
