As announced at several meetings, the Chapter has signed up with Library Thing as a way of cataloging our collection. It is very easy to see what is available: you simply need to create an account, and browse the collection of "EdwardKnight".

The steps to do this are as follows:

1. Sign up for an account at Library Thing
2. Log in to your account, and click the "Search" button at top right.
3. On the search page, enter "EdwardKnight" (no quotes, and no spaces) in the box labeled "Members and locations", and click the "Search" button next to the box.
4. On the results page click the "EdwardKnight" link. This takes you to the profile page for our Chapter.
5. From there, you can browse the Chapter's collection by clicking on "Your Library", but you also probably want to click one or more of the links in the "Add To" box at top right, to make it easier to return to the our page.

Library Thing is very easy to use, so you should have no problems finding your way around. Please let our or our know if you have any comments or questions about the collection (click on the links to send email).

We are pleased to announce our self-managed discussion mailing list, which allows you to share and receive emails about Jane Austen sightings, and chapter news and views. This list is designed to allow members to share sightings, news and chatter about Jane and the local chapter.

All members for whom we already have an email address have been notified, as have all subscribers to the announcement list.

The Puget Sound Chapter of the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA) is located in the Puget Sound region of Western Washington.

We are a very active chapter, and meet six times each year at various locations to hear a program, to engage in polite conversation and partake of afternoon tea. Naturally, the subject of the meetings is always related to the life, times and works of Jane Austen.
