Supper at the Netherfield Ball Recipe Books

Our June 12th meeting featured the theme of Supper at the Nethefield Ball. All in attendance had a spectacular time learning about the background and recipes of foods that might have been served at the Netherfield Ball, then enjoying the delicious meal itself! Thanks to Julie Buck for her creativity at developing this concept and her hard work for recruiting cooks to research and prepare the dishes.

Julie Buck has also prepared a cookbook of all the stories and recipes in a printable format, which is now posted below The booklet version has the pages ordered in such a way that if you print it as is, on landscape view, print both sides, it will form a booklet that can then be folded after it's collated by your printer and it will read like a booklet. If you prefer to handle it differently, or don't print double-sided, then print version 2, which has the pages in the proper number order, and you will simply print each page separately.

About Our Region

The Puget Sound Region of the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA) is located in the Puget Sound region of Western Washington.

We are a very active region, and meet six times each year at various locations to hear a program, to engage in polite conversation and partake of afternoon tea. Naturally, the subject of the meetings is always related to the life, times and works of Jane Austen.
